Latin LOLCat: Want

Here is today's Latin LOLCat. The Latin has a nice play on words which I cannot figure out how to capture in English: volo is related to our word "volition," while valeo is related to "valid" and "prevail." The idea is that someone wants (to do something, to have something), but does not have the strength for it. If you are interested in Latin proverbs and fables, check out the Bestiaria Latina blog.

Volo, non valeo.

I want, but I am not able.
